Characteristics displays information relating to the patient’s ability to be placed. This includes assessment results used by Home and Community Care.
Click the Characteristics tab (if available) to access Characteristics information.
The following table provides a summary of some of the key features of the Characteristics tab.

Capacity for Placement |
Will display as Capable, Incapable, Unknown, or blank (if not completed). |
MAPLe Score |
This is a method of assigning priority levels based on the measurement of functional, cognitive and environmental problems. (Example: Low –Very High). |
MAPLe Score Comment |
This is entered by the Home and Community Care Case Coordinator and provides further details related to the MAPLe Score. |
Characteristics Preferences
The Characteristics tab has its own set of preferences that can be accessed and configured by clicking the Preferences button in the header or by using the Preference Setup Wizard.
After updating your preference settings, click the Save & Apply button to save your changes.
